Saint Jo ISD Students Earn State Championship Honors
Saint Jo High School students in Shelly McAninch's computer classes competed in the annual Friends of the Texas Governor's Mansion competition. This contest was open to any high school student in a Texas public or private high school. Home schooled students were also able to compete. Students had to choose a historic topic that occurred prior to 1961 in the county in which the high school is located (Montague County). The students had to research their topic and make and submit a power point presentation. We are pleased to announce that Saint Jo High School students won 3 categories. The students have been invited to attend an awards ceremony in Austin, Texas at a later date in the spring. The students will be recognized at the February School Board meeting. Job well done!
