SJISD School Board Recognizes Texas New Mexico Power – SJISD Education Foundation
TNMP Grant
The Saint Jo ISD School Board formally recognized Texas New Mexico Power Company(TNMP) for their awarding of a $10,000 Science Instruction Grant to Saint Jo Independent School District in collaboration with the SJISD Education Foundation. The Grant is devoted to providing the district with teaching supplies for a hands-on mobile science lab that will be utilized by all grade levels.
Mr. Barry Bonds, TNMP Regional Community Liaison, was recognized for TNMP’s investment in Saint Jo ISD. The generosity of TNMP furthers Saint Jo ISD’s mission to build a generation of exceptional students that enjoy learning, embrace progress and become positive contributors to society. The Grant would not have been possible without the dedicated support and leadership of the Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation led by President, Mr. Bill Harris.
TNMP’s presence at Saint Jo ISD and within our educational community is outstanding. A banner will be displayed in the dome gymnasium in honor of TNMP’s gracious support of our school district. The Grant provided by TMNP will have an immediate impact on the education of our students at Saint Jo ISD.
