Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation
"Supporting the education of our future."
Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation
The purpose of the Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation is to annually provide senior scholarships for Saint Jo ISD graduates attending colleges, universities, and vocational schools. Additionally, tuition assistance is provided for dual credit courses along with instructional grants for teachers.
Our SJISD Foundation has awarded $25,675 in Student Dual Credit Tuition Assistance, $28,400 in Student Graduate Scholarships and $26,005 in Teacher Instuctional Grants, and assisted in the school receiving a $10,000 grant for a mobile science lab and $45,000 in Agricultural Science Instructional Supply Grants since it was formed in the summer of 2015 as a non-profit corporation with IRS tax-exempt 501c3 status.
The generous donations of individuals, families, community members, alumni, and businesses along with the SJISD Education Foundation directors have helped deserving young people expand their educational opportunities and, in turn, their life opportunities.
Our Mission
The Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting the schools’ “Commitment to Excellence” by helping lift any burden in the students’ and faculty's pursuit of continuing education.
Our Purpose
The Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation was established as a means for alumni and others to help support and broaden the educational opportunities of Saint Jo ISD’s students and faculty. With generous donations, and under the direction of the school board, the Foundation is able to support the school with their many continuing educational needs, including:
· Student Dual Credit Tuition Assistance
· Senior Scholarships
· Teacher Grants for Curriculum Development
· Teacher Grants for Education and Training Grants
· Classroom Educational Needs for Students and Teachers
Ready to Make a Difference?
There are many different funding opportunities available through the foundation, and as a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization, gifts to the Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation are tax deductible. Opportunities include:
· Named Scholarships
· Endowed Scholarships
· Memorial and In-Honor Contributions
· Individual Program Support
The Saint Jo ISD Education Foundation recently awarded instructional grants to three SJISD teachers.
